The Cursillo Weekend
A Cursillo Weekend is a transformative, three-day weekend designed to deepen your relationship with Christ and empower you to live out your faith in everyday life. Rooted in Catholic tradition, Cursillo (which means "little course" in Spanish) offers a powerful experience of Christian community, prayer, and spiritual renewal.
Whether you're seeking a deeper connection with God, a stronger sense of purpose, or simply a break to reflect and recharge, the Cursillo Weekend invites you to encounter Christ in a deeply personal and communal way—and return to your daily life renewed, supported, and spiritually equipped.
The Life of a Cursillista
The Cursillo weekend is just the beginning of a lifelong journey in faith and community. After this transformative experience, Cursillistas are invited to continue growing through regular gatherings and events hosted by the Scranton Cursillo community. These opportunities offer fellowship with fellow Cursillistas and those considering the Cursillo path.
